Australian Smartwood® Shutters are locally made PVC polymer shutters designed for durability, light control and everyday low maintenance. Using Automated Paint Technology, Australian Smartwood® provides a quality, consistent, smooth and defect free paint finish.
Each component is individually painted, thermally dried, and then wrapped in a protective film for added protection during the assembly process. The acrylic paint has UV inhibitors added to help protect the shutters from the harsh Australian sun.
Australian Smartwood® Shutters are a practical option for Australian homes where moisture resistance, privacy, light control and long-term durability matter.
